About the Neujahrs

 

When Glenn Neujahr talks about quality, he speaks from personal experience. With 46 years in the business, going back to when he was a boy of 12 who handled the odd jobs that needed to be done at construction projects, Glenn has "been there and done that". As a young adult, he worked as a carpenter and construction superintendent. In 1972 Glenn started his own business in the Forest Lake area.

Helen and Glenn share the same birthday... same day, same year, same city (St. Paul), different hospitals. Glenn's 3.5 hours older. Glenn is glad that he never forgets Helen's birthday!

They have 2 children and 5 grandchildren. Daughter Kristy is married to Bob Durkee and lives in the Lindon Hills area of Minneapolis. Son David is married to Michelle and they live in Yarmouth, Maine. Of the 5 grandkids, Brian and Brandon are college age, Kim graduates from Bennelli St. Margaret this year and Brittini and Brady are in middle school and grade school.

Glenn and Helen are members of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Ham Lake. Glenn served on the board of director at the Youth Service Bureau and was also on the E.D.A. (Economic Development Association) board with the City of Forest Lake for 2 terms at the start of the downtown redevelopment.

 

From design to construction, Glenn Neujahr stresses quality. When the project is finished, everyone can
relax with a job well done!
